How To Download Install and Activate Microsoft Authenticator App and Setup MFA

  1. Open the App Store for iPhone (iOS) or Play Store for Android



  2. Select Get or Download/Install



  3. Launch the Microsoft Authenticator App then tap on Accept


  4. Click Continue



  5. Tap Scan QR Code



  6. Go to a Desktop web browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.) and then type myapplications.microsoft.com 



  7. Enter the email address and password and click Next
  8. Click Next
  9. Click Next
  10. If prompted, Allow Notifications then Click on "Next"

  11. Click Scan Scan the QR code shown on your screen
    then Click on “Next”
  12. Enter the number shown on the Desktop web browser into your Android or iOS device
  13. Click Next
  14. Click Done to Finish
