Setting Setup MFA on a New Device with Microsoft Authenticator

You will need your old phone with Microsoft Authenticator to complete these steps, if not please reach out to helpdesk@asiasociety.org for help resetting your MFA for Microsoft.

1. First download Microsoft Authenticator on your new phone from the Play store for Android or the App store for iOS (iPhone)
   
   
   
2. Open Microsoft Authenticator on your old phone
3. Select the account you want to transfer by looking for something that says "Transfer to another device" or "Export account keys."
4. You might be required to enter a verification code generated by the old phone to confirm the transfer. Complete this step if it pops up, then you are done.
5. Try testing it by logging into your account
